Payment & Activation Guide

Everything you need to know about purchasing, activating, and managing your DALBIT license.

1. How Payment Works

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, tax calculation, and payment processing on our behalf. Your bank or credit card statement will show a charge from "PADDLE.NET* DALBIT".

Currency & Tax

Prices are displayed in USD by default. Paddle automatically converts to your local currency and calculates applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) based on your location. The final amount including tax is shown before you confirm payment.

2. What You Get After Purchase

When the checkout is complete, two things happen:

  1. On-screen confirmation — A success panel appears immediately showing your Transaction ID (this is your license key). It looks like txn_01abc123xyz.... There is a Copy button to copy it to your clipboard.
  2. Email receipt — Paddle sends a receipt email to the address you entered during checkout. This email contains your Transaction ID and a PDF invoice.
Important: The on-screen Transaction ID is your license key. Copy it immediately or save the receipt email. You will need this key to activate the Pro version.

3. How to Activate Your License

Follow these three steps to unlock Pro in any DALBIT product:

  1. Open the app on your PC. For example, open DalVideo or DalCut.
  2. Go to Settings — Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the app. Then click "About" at the bottom of the settings panel. You will see an "Activate License" button.
  3. Paste your Transaction ID — Click the "Activate License" button, paste your Transaction ID (e.g. txn_01abc123xyz...) into the input field, and click "Activate". The app will verify your key online and unlock Pro instantly.

Once activated, the 5-minute time limit is removed and your license is tied to your PC. You can use the app offline after activation (periodic online re-verification is required every 30 days).

4. Lost Your License Key?

If you closed the success panel and can't find your key, don't worry:

  1. Check your email — Search your inbox (including spam/junk) for an email from Paddle with the subject containing your product name. The Transaction ID is in the receipt.
  2. Contact us — Email support@daolh.dev with the email address you used during checkout. We'll look up your transaction and send you the key.

5. One License = One PC

Each Pro license (Transaction ID) activates on one PC. If you need to use the software on multiple computers, purchase additional licenses or choose the 3-PC plan where available.

If you replace your PC or reinstall Windows, contact support@daolh.dev and we'll help you transfer your license.

6. Free vs Pro

The Free version includes every single feature of Pro. There are no watermarks, no resolution limits, no codec restrictions, and no ads. The only difference is a 5-minute time limit per session. We believe in letting you try the full product before buying.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked.

  1. Email support@daolh.dev with "Refund Request" and your Transaction ID.
  2. Or request a refund directly through Paddle support.

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. After a refund, your Pro license is deactivated and the app reverts to Free mode. All your files and settings remain intact.

8. Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no account or sign-up required. Your Transaction ID is all you need to activate Pro.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Paddle is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never see or store your credit card information.

Can I use the software offline?

Yes. After activation, the app works fully offline. It only needs to connect to the internet once every 30 days for a brief license re-verification.

What happens if I don't re-verify within 30 days?

The app temporarily reverts to Free mode (5-minute limit). Connect to the internet and open the app — it will automatically re-verify and restore Pro.

I paid but the activation failed. What do I do?

Make sure you copied the full Transaction ID (starts with txn_). Check your internet connection. If it still fails, email support@daolh.dev with your Transaction ID and we'll resolve it within 24 hours.
